Tucked into the foothills of Wyoming’s iconic Big Horn Mountains, Canyon View Miniature Cattle is a small but mighty ranchette with sweeping views of Little Goose Canyon and the rugged beauty that inspired our name.

Rooted in heritage and heart, our operation is led by Travis and Mandy Koltiska. Travis, a fourth-generation Sheridan County rancher and full-time law enforcement officer, brings a legacy of ranching that stretches back to the late 1800s. Together, we’re raising our family—and our cattle—with a shared passion for livestock, land, and tradition.

Our journey into Highland cattle began in 2019 with a single, unforgettable silver bull calf from Diamond B Ranch. That moment sparked a love for the breed that quickly grew into a carefully curated fold of Scottish Highland and Highland crosses.

With a strong foundation in 4-H production, we focus on quality over quantity—producing just a handful of calves each year. Whether you're looking for a docile, eye-catching companion or a structurally sound addition to your breeding program, our cattle are bred for temperament, conformation, and calving ease.
